    Max Lucado
Conflict is normally viewed as something to be feared or avoided. It is usually associated with negative emotions and experiences. These feelings are further exasperated by expectation that, as a professional at work or as parents at home, we are supposed to be equipped with the skills to manage conflict effectively.
Conflict management is a skill that has to be learned. Just like reading or writing, we possess the capability to be effective conflict communicators. We can learn to appreciate that within conflict, opportunities exist to not only resolve problems, but to build trust and strengthen relationships. This can be accomplished by:
Effective de-escalation begins with self awareness and self management.
C.O.R.E. Online consist of 3 Sessions of 3 hours each. The sessions are spread out over 3 days which allows for participants to properly absorb and reflect upon the course content. Questions are encouraged, and can be asked during the session (via live chat) or emailed to the instructor between sessions. A small amount of course work prior to and during the 3 sessions is expected. Delivery is via Zoom based software and includes a digital copy of the student workbook.
Your Instructor has over 20 years experience delivering conflict management training throughout Canada. He blends professional and personal experiences in order to illustrate the concepts necessary for effective de-escalation.
Creating Opportunities with Respect & Empathy

Many of the nation’s leading organizations (including over three-fourths of the Fortune 100 and many government and non-profit organizations) use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment with employees and managers.

These results help you understand normal differences in the way people think, communicate, and interact—differences that can be the source of much misunderstanding. The MBTI instrument has been used for more than 50 years to establish greater understanding between individuals, and has been translated into more than 15 different languages for use around the world.
