Students examine global health challenges and issues, and the diverse roles of the nurse within the context of changing health care environments. Students analyze factors that underpin the global burden of disease, including war, climate change, racism, and structural violence. Students confront the climate and ecological crisis and implications for planetary health in nursing practice. Students examine how injustices arise from colonization, influencing health worldwide.
