Course description:

This course is designed to foster a theoretical and experiential understanding of self-esteem by examining the factors that influence emotional and social development. Aspects of interpersonal communication as they relate to self-esteem will be introduced. Students will explore their own self-awareness as well as their role in fostering self-esteem in children. This course focuses on the strategies for creating self-esteem, wellness and healing, rather than the resolution of personal issues.
