The Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) is an intensive, applied workshop that focuses on lesson planning, learning objectives, and participatory learning. Participants deliver and receive feedback on three short lessons over the course of the workshop.
CLTI offers the ISW as a component of the first course in the Certificate in Adult Education (CAED) program and as stand-alone workshops.
CLTI can organize an ISW for a specific group of staff/instructors in your area. Minimum participants is 4 and maximum is 12.
ISWs can be run in person or online depending on demand and location of participants.
Optional sessions in the ISW can be tailored to the interests and needs of your group.
Facilitator Development Workshops (FDW) certifies people to facilitate ISWs. CLTI is able to deliver the FDW to participants who have completed the ISW.
