CLTI supports staff and faculty in the design, development, and continuous improvement of student-centered course and program development, within face to face and distance environments.

The Instructional Design specialist offers one-on-one consulting and group training sessions in areas including:

Feedback on lesson plans, activities, assessment strategies, and course syllabi

Feedback on teaching practice

Developing course learning outcomes and session learning objectives; aligning assessment strategies with course outcomes

Designing lessons for learner interaction and content accessibility

Integrating Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approaches in your lesson and course development

Considering issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion in your lesson and course development

Implementing educational technology for learner engagement

Piloting new and innovative teaching strategies or course delivery approaches

Course mapping and design

Designing and delivering workshops, learning materials, and aligning program goals to learning objectives.
