The Educational Technology specialist offers one-on-one consulting and group training sessions in areas including:
Basics of Moodle course design
Designing lessons for learner interaction and content accessibility
Feedback on online teaching practice
Integrating Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approaches in your lesson and course development
Implementing Educational Technology for learner engagement
Technical and Design support for Moodle and MS Teams
Troubleshooting Moodle course components and assessments (including assignments & quizzes)
Your CLTI team is eager to work with you to design enriched learning experiences for participants in your courses, using a blend of old and new educational technologies. Sound pedagogical principles are the foundation for integrating digital technologies into teaching and learning.
Aurora College currently supports Moodle and Microsoft Teams as platforms to engage students.
Moodle
The CLTI provides and facilitates training for using Moodle as a course management system that affords asynchronous online access to course content. We support creating Moodle resources for your in-person courses as well as online courses and provide guidance in designing interactive virtual learning environments.
