Staff Professional Development

CLTI can provide professional development activities and resources for non-instructional staff such as:

Specialized workshops

Helping to develop a team training day

Instructional Skills Workshops for non-instructional teams

Helping develop training plans for developmental transfers

Many staff who are in non-instructional roles have the responsibility of supporting students throughout their experience at Aurora College. The Instructional Skills Workshop can benefit staff who interact with students in a non-instructional way by thinking of student interactions as teachable moments and practicing that instruction.  Non-instructional staff are encouraged to register for an ISW, or to contact CLTI to arrange a special ISW delivery for your unit or team.

The Professional Development Knowledge Sharing section of our website showcases learning highlights from all members of Aurora College.  If you know someone who has a special skill in an area, has just taken a course, or attended a conference, and would like to share their learning with the College community, please let us know and we will reach out to them.
