Teaching and Learning at a Distance (Prerequisite – Elements of Instruction)

This course is a practical exploration of techniques, systems, challenges, and benefits associated with online learning for adult educators. It focuses on preparing instructors to design and facilitate online learning courses. Learners will explore the use of relevant technology and appropriate instructional design to establish collaborative learning environment in an online course. Specifically, consideration will be given to how we can enhance engagement for active learning using current technology and approaches. Learners are expected to come with an understanding of basic LMS and videoconferencing functionality.

Delivery: Video/Teleconference VIA Microsoft Teams
