Basic Record Keeping for Small Businesses (GROW YOUR BUSINESS SERIES)
This two-day workshop covers the basics of setting up and operating a basic record keeping system for a small business. In hands-on exercises, students set up and make entries for a fictitious company using a simple synoptic journal. In addition to monthly synoptic entries, students learn how to keep track of accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, payroll and government remittances. This course is ideal in teaching new business owners how best to keep track of the paperwork and stay in compliance with basic government requirements.
