Community Learning Centres
Most CLCs are staffed with one person, an adult educator, who is responsible for the general operation of the learning centre, as well as instructing the courses delivered at the learning centres.
The Community Learning Centres are an integral part of Aurora College as they are often the first contact that many students have with the College. Students may complete their high school upgrading at a learning centre in preparation for enrolling in a full-time program at one of the campuses. Also, the learning centres deliver many general interest and employment-related programs and courses.
Examples of programs and courses available at Community Learning Centres include:
- Developmental Studies (high school upgrading)
- Environmental Monitoring
- Simply Accounting training
- Driver training
- Computer training
- Safety training
