Let’s face it, the dynamics of our world are becoming more and more interpersonal. Whether it’s through enhanced social media, the ability to travel more easily, or an open work space office setting – we can’t escape the ever-increasing importance of our relationships with others. This workshop will focus on the follow interpersonal skill subsets:
1. Interpersonal relationships
The skill of developing and maintaining mutually satisfying relationships that are characterized by trust and compassion.
Recognizing, understanding and appreciating how other people feel. Empathy involves being able to articulate your understanding of another’s perspective and behaving in a way that respects others’ feelings.
3. Social Responsibility
Willingly contributing to society, to one’s social groups, and generally to the welfare of others. Social Responsibility involves acting responsibly, having social consciousness, and showing concern for greater community.
Similar to the other workshops in this series, participants will be encouraged to take stock of how each of the three Interpersonal sub-sets are occurring in their lives and through the facilitator’s guidance and support, to discover opportunities to continue to explore and evaluate these areas.
