A: | Residence
and student housing will stay open and operational at this time. However if you are able to return home, we
would encourage you do so – unless you
have just returned from outside the NWT – then you should follow the rules set
out by the Chief Public Health Officer. |

2. | Q: | I am in a multiyear program and planned to stay in (campus community) over the summer. Do I have to leave my residence? I have nowhere else to go. |
A: | Residence
and housing will stay open and operational for students who do not have other
options at this time. |

3. | Q: | I am in residence. What happens if I have to self-isolate? - Will anyone check on me? - How will I get food and supplies? - Can I go back to my home community to finish my self-isolation or do I have to stay at my residence on campus? - How do I self-isolate in a shared residence? |
A: | You have the call numbers for your residence staff, continue
to use them.
Anyone returning to
the NWT must self-isolate for 14 days. If you are self-isolating you should
stay where you are until the time frame is over and then you can plan to return
to your home community if you want. Follow the rules set out by the Chief
Public Health Officer.
If you require self-isolation, please let your
residence staff know. |

4. | Q: | I went home/away for the break, but all of my personal belongings are at my campus residence. How/when can I get my belongings? (or) How long can I leave my belongings there? |
A: | Your
belongings will be safe and locked in your unit until you make arrangements to
come to get them. These are unusual
times and there is no hurry to get them right now. Contact your residence staff to make
arrangements. |

5. | Q: | Will I get a refund for March/April rent if I don’t come back? |
A: | We
will be working with finance to review this situation and more information will
be coming out. Make sure you notify your
residence manager if you are not returning to your unit. |

A: | All
public spaces will be cleaned. You will
be responsible for cleaning your own unit.

College operations are closed so do not report for work. |

12. | Q: | If I lose my year/program because of this, will I get a reimbursement on my tuition and fees? Will I get free tuition and fees for next year if I have to repeat? |
A: | We
are identifying which programs are continuing using alternative learning
methods. Continue to read your college
email daily for updates. You will be
contacted by your faculty using this method.
